Fã declarado de F1, George Harrison era presença constante no paddock nos anos 1970 e 1980. E sua paixão pelo esporte a motor virou música.
Há 37 anos, o eterno ‘beatle’ lançou a canção ‘Faster’, terceiro single do seu álbum ‘George Harrison’. Ele queria escrever algo que gente como Niki Lauda, Jody Scheckter e Emerson Fittipaldi fossem gostar, e a dedicatória foi para a F1 como um todo e para o sueco Ronnie Peterson, morto no ano anterior. Também doou a arrecadação com a música para o fundo Gunnar Nilsson de combate ao câncer.
